Chrome Hearts has launched the new fall and winter 2010/11 collection of luxury sun and vision eyewear.
In line with the brand’s philosophy, the collection features important new ideas in design and technology. The numerous new proposals join the re-editions of some of the most famous models, such as Dismembered, Works and Beast.
The collection includes 15 new models in a large variety of shapes and colors for men and women, with particular focus on vision eyewear.
The sunglasses line of 5 new models made from aluminum or titanium feature a shaped and flexible front piece to guarantee maximum comfort and adaptability to facial features.
Particularly innovative is the new enamel ‘Piano Varnish’ used on the fine wood temples, which are treated just like the best pianos.
For this season, Chrome Hearts has launched the new ‘FlerKnee’ decorative pattern hand-worked in 925 silver. The decoration was inspired by the typical stitching on motorbike leathers – a part of the brand’s heritage – and emphasizes the very high quality of eyewear.
For women in particular, the new proposals include two oversize models and a revamped Wayfarer in hand-worked acetate. Presented in a new palette of colors, such as the exclusive Caramel Tortoise, they feature the distinctive Chrome Hearts ‘plus’ logo set in silver and Carl Zeiss lenses with a multilayer antiglare coating.
The vision collection has 7 new models, five in hand-worked acetate and two in metal, with a slim stainless steel front piece, pressed micro logos and acetate temples decorated with the typical Chrome Hearts ‘plus’ logo.
All the models with the Chrome Hearts label are made by hand from premium materials ranging from precious metals such as 925 silver and 12-carat gold, to the best Italian and Japanese acetates, exotic woods like Madrona Albina, Brazilian Mahogany and Macassar Ebony, or the gems used to decorate the ‘Jewel Collection’.
