Also you can watch a promo movie that presents the Prada eyewear project. It was directed by the Milan-based Modecracy studio.

The main idea of the Prada eyewear collection was shown through the virtual games: a brief and extreme voyage of an object, in this case sunglasses, which is the flying lead character in a multi-level surreal journey. After the travelling through multiple worlds in the Prada universe the adventure ends in a romantic epilogue.

Italian manufacturer of men’s and women’s clothing and accessories, has announced a lookbook «Fantasy» spring-summer 2012 for Prada glasses specially. Dedicated to the new fantasy collection the lookbook Prada glasses was made in the technique of collage using vintage photographs supposedly.


For the new season Prada fashion eyewear were presented in the style of 50’s-60’s of the last century. The author of the pictures was Phil Meech this year photographer Phil Meech, who recognized patterns in clothing, footwear and Prada glasses, another accessories from the spring 2012 collection. Phil worked on the collage with Jeroen Koolhaas and Lok Jansen.

These versions of the collection of Baroque-Minimal sunglasses, featured on a new palette of colors, shapes and transparencies. Prada was curious as to how to develop a new approach to his glasses, which led to a project DRAWING PICTURES. The idea of having played in all aspects of the Minimal-Baroque collection is in its first phase, three illustrators were invited to interpret the limited edition deluxe version of the glasses. The hand-drawn images of the first phase emphasized the uniqueness of the pieces.
