Frida Giannini ought to be in a good mood. The bright palette she has presented for Gucci’s Spring 2013 collection is indicative of an positive way of thinking – and after last year’s unique, exciting outing of all black everything, this house needed a pleasant jolt of color.

The hot pinks, seafoam greens, lemon yellows shades of blue Giannini sent for the runway in Milan this evening were spot-on trend with this year’s wider color story.
